Promoting a site that sells a product is usually the last thing that I try to post on our blog. However, sometimes a site comes along with enough "free" stuff that it somehow seems worthwhile to suggest a visit. Furiously Curious is a site that uses original music (for purchase) in combination with hundreds of worksheets for students. That's the free part. All the worksheets were created by the artists wife, an elementary teacher. The songs are good, have a quirky catch to them, and are something the kids can have fun with. The songs can be purchased as a CD or on iTunes. Multiple content areas are covered for different grade levels. You don't have to buy the music to use the worksheets but I am sure the band would appreciate the purchase. Enjoy!
