The New Zealand Ministry of Education has a site called New Zealand Maths. This site is incredible. It has a ton of animations for Teaching Numeracy and a ton of black line masters for teaching. It also contains an Early Childhood Education section as well as a Secondary Education section. They even have a searchable resource database where you can find lesson plans and resources. If you teach Math and you read this blog....YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS SITE OUT. Granted, language and spelling may be things to work around as well as matching to our standards, but mathematical concepts and principals are the same no matter where you live.
